EgyptAir has signed a cooperation protocol with Austria's largest tourism company, ETI (Express Travel International), one of the biggest tourism companies in Europe, to operate one flight a week, on Saturdays, from the Austrian city of Linz to Sharm El-Sheikh.

These flights start this April and will continue for one year, as part of EgyptAir's role in boosting inbound tourism to Egypt.

EgyptAir, represented by the charter flights department of EgyptAir Airlines, was keen to activate this first-of-its-kind cooperation in coordination with the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority, with the aim of strengthening its presence in the Austrian market while gradually expanding in this promising market.

The protocol was signed by Magdy Omar, assistant executive director of ETI, and Ahmed Wagdy, director of the General Department of Networks, Planning and Fleet at EgyptAir Airlines.

Flight MS3019 bound for the Austrian city of Linz is scheduled to take off from Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport at 17:30, arriving in Linz at 21:50, aboard the company's latest Boeing B737-800NG aircraft.

It is worth noting that EgyptAir operates scheduled flights to the Austrian capital, Vienna, totaling five flights per week, on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
