Qatar Airways and Canadian carrier WestJet have launched a codeshare agreement giving passengers access to nine cities across Canada via Toronto and Montreal. The launch coincides with Qatar Airways increasing its Canadian services from 12 to 14 weekly flights, effective October 25, 2026.

According to a statement on the Qatar Airways website, the airlines said the agreement expands domestic travel options in Canada for Qatar Airways passengers through WestJet’s network, while giving Canadian travellers access to Qatar Airways’ global network of more than 170 destinations.

The partnership forms part of Qatar Airways’ plans to expand its presence in Canada and strengthen connections between Canadian cities and international destinations through its Doha hub.

Nine Canadian cities covered by the codeshare

Qatar Airways passengers can connect through Toronto and Montreal airports to nine Canadian cities on WestJet’s network:

Fourteen weekly flights between Doha and Canada

Qatar Airways has increased its Canadian services from 12 to 14 weekly flights, effective October 25, 2026, with daily flights to both Toronto and Montreal.

The increase coincides with the new codeshare agreement, which provides additional onward travel options to Canadian cities through WestJet’s network.

Through the agreement, Qatar Airways aims to expand connectivity between Canada and destinations across its global network.

WestJet operates more than 600 daily flights
