At its meeting on Wednesday, chaired by Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouly, Egypt’s Cabinet approved a draft decision authorising the issue of a non-circulating commemorative gold coin with a face value of EGP 1 and a non-circulating commemorative silver coin with a face value of EGP 25.
The coins will mark the first anniversary of the Grand Egyptian Museum’s opening, according to the Egyptian Cabinet’s official Facebook page.
