On the fourth day of ITB Berlin, the first day open to public visits, the Egyptian pavilion saw a notable turnout of visitors, who were welcomed by young Egyptian students and scholars living in Germany and members of the Egyptian community, whom the ministry enlisted at the Egyptian pavilion for the first time and who presented Egyptian souvenirs to the visitors.

The interactive and entertainment activities offered by the Egyptian pavilion won the admiration and engagement of visitors, including writing names in hieroglyphics and taking souvenir photos at the pavilion, while Egyptian food and music were also very popular.

The section dedicated to the Grand Egyptian Museum also drew large crowds, as did the screens displaying promotional material on each tourist city separately, Branding By Destination, namely Siwa, Luxor, Aswan, Marsa Alam, Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh.

Visitors praised the virtual reality technology through 3D glasses, which allows them to live an interactive experience in which they see the natural scenery of the depths of the Red Sea and the mountains of Sinai. ITB Berlin is scheduled to conclude its activities tomorrow, Sunday, March 10.
