Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Tourism, issued Decree No. 58 of 2019 forming the 16-member board of the Egyptian Tourism Federation, and the procedural session was set for next Monday to choose the federation's chairman, vice chairman and treasurer.
The formation includes the heads of the five chambers: Hossam El-Shaer, head of the Chamber of Tourism Companies; Magued Fawzy, head of the Chamber of Hotels; Adel El-Masry, head of the Chamber of Tourist Establishments; Hesham Gabr, head of the Chamber of Diving and Water Sports; and Ali Ghoneim, head of the Chamber of Antiques and Tourist Goods.
In addition to the six elected members, Nasser Turky, Ahmed El-Wassif, Mohamed El-Kattan, Mohamed Abdullah, Waheed Assem and Heba Bakry, there are 5 appointed members: Abdel Fattah El-Assy, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Head of the Hotels Sector, representing the Ministry of Tourism, Sameh Saad Howeidak, Tamer Tadros, Ashraf Rabie and Mohamed Nader.
