The tourist market in the city of Aswan witnessed a tour by Prime Minister Eng. Mostafa Madbouly, accompanied by Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Antiquities, and Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Tourism, on the sidelines of their participation in and attendance of the events of the Arab-African Youth Forum 2019, held in Aswan under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. This underlines the government's interest in the tourism sector, especially in cities that enjoy unique tourism and archaeological potential, and in identifying any obstacles and problems facing efforts to boost inbound travel to Egypt.

The Prime Minister and the Ministers of Tourism and Antiquities made a point of walking through the tourist market and talking with shop and bazaar owners. They also drank sugarcane juice at one of the juice shops and completed the tourism inspection tour, which sends the world a positive image of safety and security and of the political leadership's and government's engagement with the tourism sector.
