flydubai has announced the resumption of direct flights between Dubai and Skopje, North Macedonia’s capital, from April 1, 2027. Three weekly services will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3, with return Economy fares from Dubai starting at AED 2,800.
The airline said the route forms part of its expansion into markets with limited direct travel options to Dubai, providing more choice for leisure and business travellers, according to its website.
Business and Economy Class will be available, with onward connections through Dubai across the combined flydubai and Emirates network.

Connections through Dubai to Australia and Asia

Connections include destinations in Australia and Asian cities such as Shanghai and Singapore with Emirates, as well as Bangkok, Colombo and Zanzibar on flydubai’s network.
The partnership offers a single booking and through-checked baggage to the final destination, with connections through Dubai Terminal 3.
flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said resuming Skopje services supports the airline’s strategy of linking cities with limited direct access to Dubai, strengthening tourism, trade and cultural exchange.

Jeyhun Efendi, Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations and E-commerce, said Europe remains an important part of flydubai’s network strategy.
He noted that the Skopje service will provide connections through Dubai, particularly for leisure and business travellers and Macedonian communities living in Australia and Asia.
