The Egyptian Travel Agents Association announced that, from Thursday, November 5, customers of tourism companies who were not selected in the tourism Hajj lottery for the 1448 AH/2027 season may visit any Banque Misr branch across Egypt to reclaim their paid booking deposits.
The measure forms part of the implementation procedures for the 1448 AH/2027 Hajj season and follows the regulations governing tourism Hajj, which require lottery applicants to pay a booking deposit. Applicants must present their original, valid national identity card to obtain the refund.
