Jauncey's posts also drew interaction and comments from leading Russian and international social media bloggers and influencers in the tourism field, most notably Murad Osmann, whom the ministry hosted on a visit to Egypt last June.

It is worth noting that Instagram is one of the most influential social media platforms in travel decisions, as a study published by Forbes showed that more than 40% of tourists around the world under the age of 33 use Instagram when making their travel decisions.
For his part, Jeremy said that visiting Egypt had been a dream of his since childhood, and that he was very happy with the warm welcome he received from Egyptians, whom he described as a hospitable people proud of their country and keen to show its beauty, noting that the experience of his first visit to Egypt, organized by the Ministry of Tourism, exceeded all his expectations.
In an Instagram post, Jauncey expressed his great happiness at the huge number of messages and ideas he received from all over the world, adding that tourism, besides contributing to countries' economic development, is one of the best means of changing people's lives and opening new horizons through different travel experiences that help strengthen human cultural connection and knowledge of the world around us. He stressed that this is what he felt during his short visit to Egypt, which is in line with the concept of the Ministry of Tourism's new promotional campaign, People to People.
Jauncey noted that seeing the Sphinx up close had been a dream for him, as it is one of the most distinctive statues in the world, pointing out that its proximity to the Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled to open in 2020, which will be the largest archaeological museum in the world, will offer the opportunity to see the complete collection of King Tutankhamun and the statue of Ramses II, which dates back more than 3,000 years, giving the Giza area a special character for its visitors.
Notably, Minister of Tourism Dr. Rania Al-Mashat met with Jeremy Jauncey and his team to discuss aspects of cooperation with Beautiful Destinations in implementing some aspects of Egypt's international promotional campaign, including creating new promotional content for various tourist sites and broadcasting it on the company's various social media platforms, which have more than 20 million followers in 180 countries around the world.
