To celebrate Sinai Liberation Day, Misr Company for Sound, Light and Tourism Development has announced that it will hold Arabic-language sound and light shows free of charge for Egyptians at all five of its sites, namely the Pyramids, Abu Simbel, Karnak, Edfu and Philae, on Thursday, April 25, as part of the celebration of the 37th anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day, which marked the full restoration of Egyptian territory.
In this context, Sameh Saad, head of Misr Sound and Light, said that participating in such national occasions is a duty of all Egyptian institutions, and holding the shows free of charge for Egyptians on this day is a way of sharing with them the celebration of the anniversary of a great national event, especially as the sound and light shows tell the honorable history of our ancestors, the ancient Egyptians, builders of civilization and of achievements that dazzle the world.
It is worth noting that the ticket price for sound and light shows for Egyptians and Arabs on ordinary days is 65 pounds. To encourage the development of Arab culture and the attendance of groups and families at these shows, Misr Sound and Light has introduced a family ticket covering four people at a price of 180 pounds. The Arabic-language shows are held on Thursday in the third performance at 9 p.m.
